I have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from CSU Chico State, where I learned how to mesh my skills as a watercolor artist with the digital world of design. In 2016, Honey Brush Design was born after teaching myself how to use watercolors to create my very own wedding invitations and discovering my love of them in the process! From t
I have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from CSU Chico State, where I learned how to mesh my skills as a watercolor artist with the digital world of design. In 2016, Honey Brush Design was born after teaching myself how to use watercolors to create my very own wedding invitations and discovering my love of them in the process! From there, I discovered a love of textile design and decided to start printing my artwork on flour sack tea towels! Since then, I have learned a lot and discovered more of who I am as an artist and an overall human.

I currently reside in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband and two sons. I can't help but feel a desire to paint every time I step outside my front door. From the snowy mountaintops to the untamed sea, there is so much to behold, but I am particularly drawn to colors and textures that make up our glorious surroundings. I truly

Experimenting with watercolor is a huge passion for me and it is my greatest desire that my art evokes the same feelings of joy! The challenging elements of transparency and the wild nature that are unique to this medium only add to their appeal for me. As a watercolor artist, I often use a lot of bright color on my flour sack tea towels
Experimenting with watercolor is a huge passion for me and it is my greatest desire that my art evokes the same feelings of joy! The challenging elements of transparency and the wild nature that are unique to this medium only add to their appeal for me. As a watercolor artist, I often use a lot of bright color on my flour sack tea towels and try to strike a healthy balance somewhere between messy and overly refined as I attempt to capture all that I see.
